An interesting article about a silly thing. Warbloggers are, I have learned, the neophytes in the blogging world who, it seems, are torqueing off a number of older-school bloggers who are bothered by the attention these newcomers are getting. I remember getting pissed off when America Online unleashed hordes of net.idiots onto the scene turning the Internet from a niche filled with intelligent, knowledgable users into a pit of morons who couldn’t figure out what an FAQ was or where they should stick it.

One part of the article was of special interest. It referred to one blogger as follows: "Cameron Barrett, a programmer and Web designer in New York who has been publishing his Camworld blog (camworld.com) since 1997, making him one of the first bloggers." I’ve been doing this since 1994. What does that make me?
