I just read a fascinating article which compares Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to England in the 1930s with Dumbledore as Churchill, Voldemort as Hitler and Harry, perhaps, as FDR’s America. It’s rather clever. I am in the midst of reading that book getting ready for our copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince which we get tomorrow.
