An official announcement of his candidacy is “down the road,” some months away, Kerry said. But, he said, “I’ve made a decision to file a committee, I’m going to begin this week to file a committee” to test the waters.
I, for one, am glad to see this. Kerry’s a good guy and I think one of the stronger people the Democrats can put forward for ’04. Whoever runs, I hope they have the guts to actually speak out against the current administration’s policies and not try to play the middle.
