Chris is travelling again and has made it to Johannesburg, South Africa. He reports: “For the record, water goes down the drain counter-clockwise here.” He told me that that was going to be the first thing he checked when he got there.

He’s off to Malawi and then Ethiopia. Me, I barely escaped a trip to West Virginia this week. The reason wasn’t so good: Ann and Jack were both sick. (Now she’s better and Jack’s running a 101+ fever. It’s always something.)
