An interesting point of view about why Nader should not run and how far he has fallen from the ideals he claims to stand for. The part about the groups he has alligned himself with are frightening.

But Nader rejected the MoveOn folks’ offer, since he considers any opposition to his running “censorship.” Nader, of course, has a perfect right to run for president if he wants to. Those of his friends and former supporters who like myself urged him not to run were not exercising any power of censorship, but deploying wisdom in the service of shared political goals. And it is wisdom and a sense of American realities that are absent from Nader’s decision to run again this year.

More Hypocrisy

KTOK-AM Oklahoma City’s News, Weather, and Traffic Station! reports that Tom Cole (Republican Congressman) says that voting for Kerry is like supporting Hitler during World War II. I have to wonder if the same Republicans who were outraged at the comparison between Bush and Hitler made as part of the MoveOn.org ad contest (which was unjustifiably attributed to MoveOn itself rather than the person who submitted the entry) will be just as outraged at Tom Cole for this?

Yeah, I doubt it too. But I love to watch people try to justify their double standards. Reminds me of watching roaches when you turn the light on…
